This week I spent some time trying to figure out which I wanted to spend more time on. Therefore, I spent 30 mins on each topic.
1. Prenatal Workouts/Nutrition: I explored several programs and read articles about what is good for prenatal workouts and nutrition and what types of things I should avoid. This is DEFINITELY something I am interested in pursuing.
2. Family Meals: I spent an extensive amount of time researching toddler nutrition and ideas. I even joined a Facebook group for toddler eating meal ideas and tips. However, I felt a lot of pressure and anxiety even thinking about the topic so I'm not sure that this is something I could do. I feel like too much of this is out of my control and in the hands of a 2 and 3 year old.
3. Organization: The question is where would I even begin? I began to write a list of things I would want to clean or organize, then I realized it was a list of my whole house. If I decided to Marie Kondo my life. She recommends going in order of:
1. Clothes
2. Books
3. Papers
4. Misc
5. Sentimental
Organizing is not something that I'm necessarily good at, or that comes naturally to me, but it is something I truly do enjoy. When I'm done, I'll keep going back to what I've done and just admire it!
THE DECISION:
To be honest, this was an extremely hard decision for me to make (I'm really bad at decision making.. maybe I should have done that). I was extremely torn between becoming a prenatal extraordinaire and a Marie Kondo graduate. I know that organization is what I need in my life, but more than that, I LOVE fitness and nutrition and unfortunately, it has fallen by the wayside this pregnancy due to schedules, grad school, work, illnesses, and... pregnancy! I am dedicating these next 8 weeks to fitness and nutrition!
